Dr Daniel Amen of the Amen Clinics – double board certified child psychiatrist – nation’s leading brain chemistry Doctor was her Professor for 4 days.
Our fellowship was done in 4 modules each comprising of 4 days each – 7am to 7pm.
As a Business Developer and Marketer – I managed to corral Dr. Amen and 3 other Docs to dinner at the Columbia House restaurant in Ibor City Tampa. Dr. Amen was impressed with the fresh fish selection and we all ordered and had water dispensed to our table. No alcohol, not even wine was discussed.
The waiter brought their famous white hot bread freshly baked and Amen waved him off. We looked longingly after the disappearing bread carried off by the confused waiter and Dr. Amen made the comment – see you only make the decision once – send it away. If it sits on the table you make the decision 30 times – do I have another bit – so I add more butter?
White bread is your anxiety he continues, it is your crack cocaine.
Okay then – we definitely will not eat it , not tonite anyway.
